Axel has been with the Westpac Group since 2003 in senior leadership roles spanning strategy and M&A as well as product management. In his current role, Axel has responsibility for a number of product lines including Cards Issuing and Acquiring across the Westpac Group. Prior to joining Westpac, Axel worked as a strategy consultant with The Boston Consulting Group, advising clients across a range of industries in Europe and Australasia on issues of strategy and performance. Axel is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
