Simon was appointed in July 2010. He is responsible for the implementation of strategic technology targets as determined by the Board to ensure that eftpos remains the leading debit system in Australia for cardholders, merchants and stakeholders. Simon has over 30 years of professional experience having held senior positions within Visa International, Westpac and HSBC. His experience lies predominantly as a specialist business engineer as well as a project deliverable consultant to a number of organisations. Simon has held many senior positions in many financial institutions. A leading voice in the payments industry, Simon believes this is a once in a lifetime opportunity to transform our payment landscape for the better (i.e. from credit to debit).
