At eftpos, our highest priority is the health and wellbeing of the communities we serve, including consumers, merchants, members, stakeholders and employees.
We understand the concerns and uncertainty around the current coronavirus (COVID-19) situation and we’re taking all necessary measures to keep our team safe and keep our business running smoothly to deliver efficient, secure and cost-effective payments for Australians during these difficult times.
We are closely monitoring coronavirus (COVID-19) and following the current guidance from the leading government and health authorities.
In efforts to minimise the transmission of this contagious disease and maintain a healthy and stable team, we have implemented our remote working policy. Our office location in Clarence Street, Sydney has recently reopened to a strictly limited number of employees only, with safe physical distancing remaining top priority for those in attendance. The office continues to remain closed to external visitors. However, our business is fully operational as we maintain running critical national payments infrastructure across Australia, and we are readily available.
We have a robust framework in place to manage eventualities related to a number of scenarios, including pandemics. We are continuously reviewing our BCP and actions as needed to account for this rapidly evolving situation. We also remain in close contact with our members and key service providers and have received assurances that they have in place and have tested their pandemic BCP’s.
We will continue to monitor this evolving situation and will keep you informed of future updates. Our team will also maintain communication with our members and stakeholders regarding the status of routine activities through our regular communication channels.
As the situation evolves, we will update our communications and processes accordingly and as necessary.
