Vickki McFadden joined the eftpos Board on 7 January 2016 and is a former investment banker with many years of boardroom experience. Vickki is a Non-Executive Director of Newcrest Mining Limited, Tabcorp Holdings Limited (subject to regulatory approvals) and Myer Family Investments Pty Limited. She is the President of the Takeovers Panel, a member of the Advisory Board and Executive Committee at UNSW School of Business, and a member of Chief Executive Women.
Vickki has formerly served as Non Executive Chairman at SKILLED Group Ltd, a Non-Executive Director of Leighton Holdings Ltd., a Director and Principal at Centaurus Corporate Finance, and as Managing Director of Investment Banking at Merrill Lynch Australia.
Bruce was appointed Managing Director of eftpos in May 2010 and is responsible for the development and management of the Company’s business activities and day-to-day operations to enable Members to collaborate and co-develop cost-effective, industry solutions to payment needs of Australian consumers, merchants and stakeholders.
Bruce is a seasoned executive in the payments industry and, before joining eftpos, he held a number of senior executive positions for Visa in Australia and around the globe, including Executive Vice President, Australia, New Zealand and Pacific, General Manager, Emerging Products and Technology (Asia Pacific) and Country Manager – Australia. Bruce is also a member of the Australian Payments Council and a Non-Executive Director of Lifeline Australia Limited.
As Head of Consumer Finance and Payments or Westpac Group, Stephen is responsible for credit cards, personal loans, overdrafts and payments for the Westpac Group of brands in Australia. The role is responsible for driving the end to end business performance, customer experience and strategy of these businesses covering consumer and business segments.
Before joining Westpac in July 2013, Stephen's prior role was as General Manager of Products at Bankwest with strategic and P&L responsibility for the bank's products across consumer and commercial banks.
Stephen has broad financial service experience having had leadership roles with small and large financial services organisations with a track record of delivery innovative customer solutions and business growth.
Nikala Busse is the Head of Information Technology and Payments for Coles. Ms Busse is responsible for payment services for Coles, Kmart, Target and Officeworks and information technology for Coles Financial Services and Coles Express.
Ms Busse has nearly 20 years experience in the financial service industry having held a variety of roles across information technology, payments, business transformation, product development and digital business. Prior to joining Coles in 2012, Ms Busse held positions with AMP and AXA Australia.
Brett Chenoweth joined the eftpos Board on 7 January 2016 and is a former digital media and telecommunications executive with significant boardroom experience. Brett is Chairman of Madman Entertainment, Chairman of Yellow Pages Group, Chairman of Canberra Data Centres (CDC) , Chairman of the Advisory Board of HRL Morrison & Co., a Principal of the Bombora Group, a Board Director at Surfing Australia and a Director of Sellable Pty Ltd.
Brett has formerly served as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of APN News and Media and has held senior executive roles at the Silverfern Group, Telecom New Zealand, Publishing & Broadcasting Limited, ecorp, ninemsn and Village Roadshow.
John is Head of Mobile Payments Transformation, Deposits and Payments, Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited. Mr Collins has more than 25 years experience in the payments industry across Australia and New Zealand, including card issuing, merchant acquiring, point of sale systems and transaction switching.
John is also an EMVCo Business Associate providing EMVCo with input on strategic business and implementation issues related to the use of the EMV Specifications.
Leslie has had leadership roles in the banking industry over a career spanning more than 30 years. As a specialist in transaction banking and working capital products, her executive roles included stewardship of the payments agenda in a variety of markets (Australia, Asia, US). Her experience with retail banking (branches, call centres) and banking infrastructure provides a broad perspective to eftpos.
Previous payments industry activity includes Board positions with the Australian Payments Network Limited, CardLink, BPAY, Austraclear, as well as the Australian executive committee of Visa. Leslie is a non-executive director of CreditCorp and a fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Vinay Rao is the Head of Payments for Woolworths Ltd Australia. Vinay is responsible for the payments strategy, payment services, operational and compliance functions for the Woolworths group. Mr. Rao has nearly 20 years experience in the financial services industry having held various roles across payments, technology, digital business and enterprise delivery.
Prior to joining Woolworths, Mr.Rao held various positions at ING Direct, CBA and Wesfarmers
Simone Van Veen
In August 2016, Simone was appointed as General Manager, Acquiring, HICAPS and Commercial cards for NAB where she is responsible for strategic development and business performance.
Simone has held various roles over the past 20 years within digital, transactional products, marketing and projects, providing her with broad experience across payments and other aspects of financial services. In addition to her experience within NAB, Simone has worked as a consultant and as a sole trader in both delivery and customer facing roles.
Derek Weatherley is the Chief Executive Officer of Indue. Having joined Indue in 2000, Derek has held a number of senior executive positions throughout his tenure, including his initial appointment as Chief Financial Officer, Chief Operating Officer and, more recently, as Executive Director of Product, Sales and Strategy. Derek is also an Alternate Director of the Australian Payments Network Limited, a Director of Ivey Pty Ltd and a Director of Trinity Securities Pty Ltd.
Derek has worked closely with the Board of Directors and Executive Team throughout his time with Indue. With a strong track record of delivering large and complex projects. Derek thrives on creating and leveraging strategic alliances and client relationships.
Stuart is General Manager, Payments Representation, Cash-Flow and Transaction Services, Institutional Banking and Markets at Commonwealth Bank of Australia. He has over 39 years of experience within the Commonwealth Bank Group, including retail and corporate banking, merchant acquiring, and payment systems. In addition to eftpos, Stuart’s other directorships include the Australian Payments Network Limited, BPAY Pty Ltd, BPAY Group Ltd, and Charge Card Services Ltd.
